What People Say
Most Liked
Patrons rave about the casual and cozy vibe that makes it perfect for family gatherings or a chill solo brunch. The attention to detail in service often stands out, with meals coming out quickly and efficiently, even during busy hours.
Signature dishes like the 'cowboy Bennie’s' wow guests with flavors reminiscent of Southern comfort food, while the massive blueberry pancakes made the perfect Instagram moment. Fresh-squeezed orange juice and house-made coffee blend delight the senses, adding to a fulfilling breakfast or lunch experience.
Many reviews emphasize the helpful staff and inviting atmosphere, making it a spot people return to frequently. Outdoor seating is also a hit, allowing guests to enjoy their meals in a fresh, open setting.
Most Disliked
During peak hours, wait times can stretch long, especially on weekends, as the café fills to capacity. Guests recommend arriving early or calling ahead to avoid disappointment. Seating at the bar is first-come, first-served, which can add to the wait but also provides a quick workaround during busy times.
Some diners mention that the blueberry pancake latte, while popular, can be messy to drink, with blueberry pieces making it difficult. A few patrons also express that some menu items might feel a tad heavy, particularly on days when lighter options are preferred. Overall, the comments seem to reflect a desire for the same great flavors in slightly more manageable portions.

Heard about this place a couple of times when we visited Dayton in the past. Finally made and glad we did. Service was great, and food was even better. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Definitely would recommend a stop at either one of their 2 locations.

First time visiting after living here many years and I understand all the hype! The food was beyond expectations. I got the cowboy Bennie’s and thought it was the best gravy I’ve had outside the south. The pancake was definitely a must order. It was so good that I couldn’t return to my regular food after. Highly recommend eating their massive pancakes last to fully enjoy everything. Their blueberry pancake latte was decent but full of blueberry pieces that made the drink difficult to enjoy. Added to my must visit list!

I ate at The Blue Berry Café Bellbrook three times in one week while my kid was at an art class nearby. I give this place major props for three things: everything I ordered came out at once on one big platter (no waiting on missing items!), the fresh-squeezed orange juice was amazing, and the grogg coffee was rich and flavorful. The place was busy every time, but I grabbed a spot at the bar, which is first come, first serve—perfect for a solo diner. I tried the waffle, french toast, and blueberry pancakes, and while they were all great, the waffle was my favorite. But perhaps it was really the butter and syrup combo that made the bread, as I could’ve slurped it up with a straw!

What a cool, happening little place with the hippest vibe. I started with a spicy blood Mary. Delicious. We saw food coming out and it all looked delicious. Pancakes bigger than your head 😮. Both my husband and my older were so tasty. Homemade biscuits and hash browns made to order. Crispy or not. We had the best breakfast in awhile. Thanks so much. Even got to chat with the owner. We will Def be back. ❤️🤍🫐💙

I have been here twice now, the first time alone, the second with my BFF. Both times I go the same meal because it was so good. Eggs, hashbrowns, bacon and of course a massive pancake. If you have Brent here before, all I can say is come hungry. Some very amazing quality food and large portions. I sat at the bar both times as well since it does make for less wait time. The staff was very helpful both times and I can say if this was closer to me, I would probably eat here weekly. I highly recommend coming here, just know parking will fill fast and there may be a line, but worth it.

We went here with 16 folks during a soccer tournament. They were able to seat us and the food was great. The wait staff had an incredible amount of patience with the kids. I wouldn’t say this is a great place to bring a whole soccer team on a regular basis but they were incredibly accommodating. I had their quiche, it was great. My husband got the B platter and the pancake was bigger than his face and had a great texture. Their seasonal cocktails were great too. I had the pumpkin spice espresso martini and it was great.

The hash browns are perfect! Crispy and tender. The veggie omelette is great. The sausage gravy is very tasty, but I needed to add some pepper for my flavor palette.
